Together with my parents & grandparents, i left Singapore for India for a pilgrimage in Tamil Nadu. The flight was interesting. That is when i learnt Indians are natural fighters. Well i am an Indian too. Does that make me a fighter or am i tamed by the politics in Singapore? I guess i should call myself a socially-engineered Indian.
Indian Airlines was a nightmare, but it was an adventure worth remembering as it was the first flight in my life that i recall and it will probably be the 1st and last flight i would be taking with my grandparents, well at least with my grandfather sitting beside me.
Upon touch down in Anna International Airport in Chennai, i realised what it is like to be an Indian in India. Oh come on, it wasn't that bad was it. Frankly speaking, theres' no difference in the public toilets in India and Singapore, which means we are all uncultured in the same way. Its the politics that propels Singapore above India. Politics. Its a big but common word in India. Its in the lips of every Indian citizen, regardless of their social strata. For those who've been to India, you will admit that corrupted leaders are the reason for the ills of India. Cinema. Another pit-hole of India. Actors are reverred and akined to God. Actresses are bunch of bimboes and that is why they are actresses. Every election you will see some of these money-faced actors and bimbotic actress taking the reins of the Indian parliament and that is why India is still developing.
